Spennende debatt på Chateau Neuf: Authoritarian regimes and Growth

Several countries are represseing civil rights as freedom of speech, political freedom and freedom of organization. This repressing has by some been considered as good for the economic growth. Is that true or false?

In the panel:

* Carl Hennrik Knutsen - PhD-fellow at Department of Political Science, UIO and researcher at the Centre for the Study of Civil War, PRIO
* Georg Sørensen, professor at Department of Political Science, Aarhus University
* Michael Alvarez, associative professor at Department of Comparative Politics, University in Bergen
